Saints fans have reacted to the latest FA Cup quarter-final fixture which will see Arsenal come to St Mary's Stadium.
Saints could be relying on their current form to upset Arsenal as they go head-to-head on April 4.
Speaking to the Echo, Bram Noya, 41, who works at the stadium said it is a difficult game for the Saints but hopes Arsenal gets a bad day on this one.
The Saints supporter said: "I am not confident we will win but I hope Arsenal come here and get a bad situation.
“It is very tough, very hard. They are on top of the Premier League and Champions League now but we don't know. It is football. “
Southampton are currently eighth on the Championship league table while pushing for a possible return to top-flight football following their relegation in April 2025.
An Arsenal supporter said the Gunners have "improved on team dynamics and consistency” in recent performances.
Valentino Makamba, 23, originally from London, added: “Southampton are good obviously. It is not guaranteed. They will have the home spirit, but I just think we have that edge right now. “
Elliot Corbin, 35, from Guernsey said: "Arsenal is playing well at the moment. It is a challenging game for Southampton. “
