DEFENDER George Campbell revealed West Brom interim boss James Morrison has ordered his players to go for the kill against Saints this evening.

West Brom are yet to win a Championship game in 2026, forcing Morrison to return as caretaker boss after Eric Ramsay was sacked following nine games in charge.

The Baggies started the week just above the Championship relegation zone by one point, thanks to a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United on Saturday.

Campbell, who scored in that important draw, expects Saints to press West Brom at The Hawthorns, and said the hosts need to remain composed.

“We are going to need every point we can get,” he said. “Mozza (Morrison) told us in the locker room that at home we need to go for it, kill these teams and pick up three points.

“We are going to need energy and quality on the ball. That will help us get the points we need. Southampton are a good team and will try to press us.

“We need to be composed and run for each other, tackle for each other.”
