Stoke City injury news vs Millwall as two more bite the dust

Stoke were down to just one fit senior centre-back, Lawal, to start against Wrexham on Saturday and Cresswell joined him in the middle of defence.

But neither of them lasted the game as Stoke crumbled to a 2-0 defeat. Cresswell was clearly playing through a knee injury in the first half and Lawal appeared to sustain a hamstring injury late on.

Mark Robins gave a late debut to 18-year-old centre-half youth graduate Pijus Otegbayo while Ashley Phillips is back from suspension ahead of a Tuesday night home game against Alex Neil's Millwall.

Ben Gibson (groin), Ben Wilmot (calf) and Maksym Talovierov (ankle) are in the treatment room.

Robert Bozenik made his return from a shoulder injury as a second half substitute, his first appearances since New Year's Day.
