Martyn Margetson to leave role as Swansea City's head of goalkeeping

Martyn Margetson is to leave his role as Swansea City's head of goalkeeping at the end of the season by mutual consent.

The 54-year-old Welshman is in his second spell at Swansea having returned to the Championship club in 2023.

He was previously part of Steve Cooper's Swansea staff.

Margetson is also Wales goalkeeping coach under Craig Bellamy and is in his second stint in the Wales role having also held a similar position with England.

His exit will leave Swansea needing to appoint a new goalkeeping coach before the 2026-27 season.
