Wrexham legend Mickey Thomas urges fans to keep the faith after West Ham humbling

Phil Parkinson's side trailed 2-0 at the break but after conceding a third goal two minutes into the second half, they caved in and the Hammers cruised to victory in front of nearly 60,000 fans at the London Stadium.

On his post on X, Thomas wrote: "6-0 hurts and nobody will be hurting more than the players and Phil Parkinson.

"But results like this happen. This is when we need to get behind the team and manager, not turn on them Look at the journey we’ve been on together and what Phil has achieved for @Wrexham_AFC. We stick together. We go again."

Wrexham return to action against Southampton at The Racecourse on Saturday.

The Saints lost their opening game of the season at Watford but have since gone unbeaten in six games, picking up four wins and two draws.
