BBC Sport

Tom Dele-Bashiru has left Watford to sign for Super League Greece side Aris Thessaloniki on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old midfielder joined the Hornets from Manchester City in 2019 and played 81 times, scoring eight goals.

After featuring twice for Watford at the start of last season, he spent the rest of the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Genclerbirligi.

Dele-Bashiru played for England Under-16s but has since opted to switch his international allegiance to Nigeria, representing them at under-20 and under-23 levels.

Meanwhile, Hornets forward Jorge Hurtado has joined Colombian side Deportes Tolima on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
