
Watford have completed the signing of prolific forward Saoirse Noonan after she left Celtic at the end of last season.
Described to The Watford Observer as probably the club's marquee signing of the summer, Noonan arrives having scored 57 goals in 74 appearances north of the border.

The 27-year-old has 14 Republic of Ireland caps and provided an assist for Morgan Cross' winner as Celtic beat Rangers to the Scottish Cup in her final match for the club.

Noonan becomes the Golden Girls' fourth summer signing, adding to defenders Zara Bailey and Hannah Greenwood , as well as midfielder Ellie Noble.
The club are expected to do more business as they ramp up preparations for their return to WSL 2, with a takeover from Norwegian investment outfit Pitch15 set to allow them to really progress.
